Anh Nguyen Bio

Hi, my name is Anh Nguyen. I am a UX designer and developer with extensive experience leading successful, award-winning, web and mobile projects. I currently live in Oak Pak, IL with my wife and baby boy.

I come from a background of traditional, hand-drawn animation and graphic design. I attended the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University where I learned to code and design human computer interactions. I worked as a frontend web developer for four years, which has helped inform my design thinking and ability to commuincate with engineers. For the past seven years, I have focused exclusively to UX design. I love crafting useful and engaging experiences that allow users to easily achieve their desired goals. According to the Enneagram personality system I am a Reformer.

Outside of work, I draw and animate my cartoon character Mang (aka Kidmang). See his jenky hijinks on the Kidmang Tumblr. I also enjoy rock climbing, skateboarding, roller skating, meditation, and coming up with fun ideas and kooky businesses.
