Shift + Space

A proof of concept for a keyboard shortcut system designed to make email navigation faster and more accessible by allowing users to activate buttons entirely from their keyboard (without the need of a mouse or trackpad). Pressing SHIFT and SPACEBAR together activates the button selection mode, where users can choose a button with their arrow keys.

HOW TO USE THE PROTOTYPE: The objective is to compose and send an email entirely from the keyboard.

1. To begin, click on the "To:" field to give the flash prototype focus.
2. Begin typing your sample email.
3. Use TAB to jump between fields.
4. When you are ready to send your email, press SHIFT + SPACE
   This enters you into a button selection mode where you can select and activate buttons with the ARROWS and ENTER keys.
5. Press SHIFT + SPACE again to exit the button selection mode.
